Terms and conditions
Prices: Customers in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland are only able to make purchases via the respective country’s website. Customers from EU countries are able to make purchases via our EU website. Price increases will only occur in the event of higher taxes or fees being incurred by us or if commodity prices or exchange rates alter drastically. All prices include 25% VAT. We reserve the right to amend incorrect information if necessary. Prices for products that are sold as ‘Clearance’ items are valid only while stocks last. Discounts for bulk buy purchases are only valid for the specified quantity of the same article number unless otherwise stated. Some of our prices are only valid in our online store.
Minimum order: Minimum order value is €60 euros.
Great value: A number of our products are marked with a ’Great value’ symbol. For these products, we have negotiated with our supplier to ensure you get the best possible quality at the lowest possible price.
Minors: If you are under 18 years old, you must have permission from your parent or guardian to order from us (the parent or guardian must be stated as the purchaser).
Payment method: Credit / Debit card
Shipping costs: €20 for orders shipped within the EU no further shipping costs will be incurred.
When you confirm your order your details are automatically sent to our partner, DIBS/DebiTech AB who will then check that the card is valid. DIBS/DebiTech AB are PCI certified.
The payment will be taken from your card when the goods are dispatched and not before. However, the amount will be reserved for payment and cannot be used for any other transaction. If we are, for some reason, unable to dispatch your order within the timeframe given by your card provider, all reserved funds will be released. Data is transferred using SSL encryption. We do not store or handle any card details or CVC numbers in our database. We accept payment by Visa, MasterCard, Electron and Maestro. We do not accept American Express or Diner cards.
Your payment is protected through DIBS. Your card number is sent encrypted directly to your bank. DIBS use SSL encryption which is the industry standard for secure card payments.
If you are a customer from outside of the EU or an EU customer with a VAT number, you can choose the payment method "Prepayment" as you are not required to pay tax on the goods. We will send you an tax-free invoice and once the payment has cleared, the goods will be dispatched.
Backorders: We do all we can to ensure that we hold all of our products in stock in our warehouse, but unfortunately we do occasionally run out of stock of some products. We will place items on backorder when the value of the goods is over €60 and if the products are expected to come back into stock within 28 days. The deliveries will then be monitored and the goods will be shipped to you as soon as they come back into stock at no extra cost.
If you wish you may cancel or supplement your backorders. If the value of the goods on backorder is under €60 please place a new order. Remember that you can always supplement your backorders with other products without incurring any extra shipping charges.
Replacement products: If any of the goods you have ordered are out of stock, we will endeavour to provide a suitable alternative. If you are not satisfied with this, in accordance with our returns policy you have 14 days to return the goods and will be refunded for the cost of the goods and the shipping.
Deliveries: Your order will be delivered by Postnord Mypack Collect. When you accept the delivery, please check to ensure that you have received the correct number of boxes and that they are not visibly damaged. Delivery time is usually ca. 3 – 7 days, but during the busy period (Sept. - Nov.) it can take longer.
Missing / damaged deliveries: We accept that damages can occur during the shipping process. Please report any damaged / missing packages directly to the carrier. If you would like us to help with this, please contact customer service by email on firstname.lastname@example.org.
Returns: If we deliver the wrong quantity, incorrect or defective goods, please notify us as soon as possible so that we can rectify the error. Replacement goods will be shipped to you free of charge and the return shipping costs will be refunded. Return the item to us as "Mail order customer return" or personally by appointment. The goods cannot be sent as cash on delivery. Please contact us before you return an item as it is sometimes enough that we send out a replacement part. If a case is referred to Consumer Complaints we always follow the Board's recommendation.
Right to cancel / return policy: Under current European Distance Selling Regulations, you have the right as a consumer to cancel your purchase without giving a specific reason within 14 days from the date you received the goods. With us, you have the right to a full return and exchange within 30 days. This right to cancel or return period expires 30 days after the receipt of the goods. If you wish to exercise your right to cancel you should notify us in writing by letter, email or fax, within the 30 day period that you wish to withdraw from the agreement or to ensure that the returned goods have been received by us. Goods purchased by mail order or in the web shop can be exchanged in any of our stores and vice versa. The return form included with the delivered goods should be completed and returned along with the goods. Goods that are returned in undamaged condition and that have not been handled any more than necessary will be refunded at their full value. If the goods have been handled to such an extent that they are deemed to have decreased in value, a deduction from the refund amount will be taken for the value that the goods are considered to have decreased by. The goods must be returned to us via the most economic method possible and must not be sent as Cash On Delivery unless authorised by us. When you exercise your right to cancel or return for a single item, we will refund the purchase price paid for said item and you are responsible for the return shipping costs. When the entire order is returned we will also refund the original shipping costs and any other costs incurred, but you are responsible for the return shipping costs.
The right to cancel or return does not apply to specially ordered goods which are not stocked as part of our standard range or to goods that have been altered according to your specific requirements. The right to return is also void for magazines and for CDs, DVDs and video cassettes where the security seal has been broken and for goods which are liable to deteriorate or age. Food produts must be returned with the original sealed packaging fully intact. If you would like to order alternative products, a reduced shipping rate will be charged.
Refunds: Upon the refund of the value of goods and / or freight charges in connection with the right to return or for a damaged / missing goods claim, the money will be refunded back on to the card used to make the original purchase. Any payment sent to us as a prepayment for undelivered goods will be refunded immediately.
Database: Slöjd-Detaljer are responsible for all personal data that we store in our database. The data is used for our own and sometimes other legitimate corporate marketing, which gives you access to great offers. If you do not wish to receive these offers please contact customer service by email on: email@example.com.
CE marking: Products that may be dangerous to use - for example, electrical products, machinery, protective equipment etc, must be CE marked to be sold on the EU internal market. CE marking means that the manufacturer or importer ensures that the product meets the agreed health and safety requirements. If the CE marking is not present it can mean that the product presents a safety hazard or that the manufacturer is not aware of the rules.
