SnapPap feathers

An alternative to real feathers, these SnapPap Easter decorations can be reused year after year. SnapPap is available in a range of colours and for this project we have used a white piece which we have spray painted with brightly coloured Art Spray to give the feathers a Spring feel.

Spray both sides of the SnapPap with Marabu Art Spray paint.

Cut out and score

Use a pencil to draw the outline of a feather on the SnapPap and then cut it out with a pair of scissors. Score down the middle of the leaf with a bone folder and then use a craft knife to cut lines from the centre outwards as shown. Cut small nicks in the feather in random places to give it a more natural feather-like appearance.

Make a hole

Use a pair of hole punch pliers to make a hole at the top of the feather.

Hanging thread

Affix a jump ring through the hole and then tie on a hanging thread.
